A human-powered train (shown below) would be powered by hundreds of people inside,who were pedaling to provide power. Each passenger seat in the train would have a set of pedals installed on the floor in front of it. When a passenger sits in his seat,he places his feet on the pedals,and starts pedaling. The train may have more than two hundred passengers inside pedaling simultaneously. Since the train is human-powered,it does not require fuel,it does not pollute the air,and it does not contribute to global warming.

Each passenger seat has a set of pedals installed in front of it,as shown in the illustration below. All the passengers are required to pedal,since the energy provided by their leg muscles is the train's sole means of propulsion.
